These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) govern the use of the CoinTradeUp website, which allows users to perform cryptocurrency trading simulations with virtual money and participate to virtual trading contests.

1.2. Acceptance of the T&Cs
By using the site, you accept these T&Cs without reservation.

 

2.1. Trading Simulator
The site offers cryptocurrency trading simulations with virtual money. Once the user has signed up, a 100 000€ virtual portfolio is attributed.
 
2.2. Real-Time Prices
Cryptocurrency prices are retrieved in real-time from the APIs of Coinbase and Coingecko.
Cryptocurrency prices are in euros and converted in real time.

2.3. Trading Challenges
The site offers free trading contests that allow users to earn badges and points based on their ranking. (see the contest rules for more information). The points earned during a week allow the user to participate to the weekly grand competition.

2.4. Trading Competition
This is a contest that involves a virtual trading competition. It is a skill-based competition lasting one week. Throughout the week, players can virtually trade on their virtual portfolio or within the organized contests and accumulate points. The top 3 players who earn the most points during the competition week are eligible for prizes.

 

3.1. Registration
Use of the site requires prior registration.
 
3.2. User Account
Each user must create a personal account and provide accurate and up-to-date information.
 
3.3. User Responsibility
The user is responsible for the security of their account and its use.

Different type of challenges are proposed on the website : Bitcoin Forever, Gaming Challenge, Memecoin Challenge, Blue Chip Battle.
Each challenge has its own rules, described in the official rules
Each challenge can make the user earn points which allow the user to participate to the weekly grand competition.

Trading on cointradeup.com is only virtual. Any transaction is really executed on any trading platform.
Trading wallets are virtual.

8.1. Data Collection
The site collects certain personal data necessary for the creation and management of user accounts.
